7th Annual Golf Tournament

May 18th - May 19th, 2018

$100 - $450

Join us on Friday, May 18, at this Clovis Hills Youth Fundraiser!

Help Clovis Hills continue to provide essential opportunities for our youth by playing in this golf tournament and/or becoming a sponsor!

Clovis Hills Youth is committed to serving in the community and throughout the world! We have participated in mission events that partnered with the Fresno Rescue Mission, World Changers, and this year we will be sending teams to help plant a new church in Porterville, CA. Helping spread the gospel all over the central valley!

Regardless of age, Jesus Christ has called and equipped us to witness and minister to the world. He chooses to work through us. Through our words and our work we show His love and make an eternal difference in the community and the people’s lives that we minister to. Also, and just as important, the students’ hearts and lives are changed. Students are always amazed as they see the need in the world, come to understand the importance of missions, and realize that they can make a difference!

Our students also have the opportunity to attend High School on the Delta, Fuge, Heartland, and Hume Lake Christian Camps. These camps challenge youth to a new and deeper relationship with Christ. Through dynamic worship and teaching experiences, teens may begin a relationship with Christ for the first time, desire a more committed relationship with Christ, or feel called to a lifestyle of missions. In Bible studies and recreation groups, students will make new friends and connect with these friends on a new level. They will experience community!

Houseboats 2018

July 22nd - July 27th, 2018

$445

YEAR TWO: MORE BOATS, MORE FRIENDS, MORE LOVE.

The best week of your summer, every summer.

What can you tell me about Houseboats?

Our camps are designed to take students away from their normal routine and get them into an environment where they are given opportunities to learn and grow spiritually and relationally. Houseboats is the best place that we have found to accomplish this goal. Houseboats offers your student the chance to connect to others through activities like wake boarding, knee boarding, banana boating, swimming, playing games, talking, and much more. Students LOVE Houseboats and we know that you will love it too!

What are the dates? When do you leave and come back?

This year, our trip is planned for July 22-27. We leave on Sunday right after second service and come back on Friday afternoon.

What is the cost? Can I make payments?

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION IS $445 BY APRIL 4TH. STANDARD REGISTRATION IS $475 UNTIL JUNE 3RD. LATE REGISTRATION WILL BE $505. A $75 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED ON ALL REGISTRATIONS, AND FINAL PAYMENTS ARE DUE TWO WEEKS BEFORE CAMP.

How will you get there?

We will take charter buses and personal vehicles. Most (if not all) students will ride the bus. We take personal vehicles to tow a ski boat and carry supplies.

Where do you stay?

On a houseboat, on the Sacramento Delta. We sleep on the roof of the boat, under the stars. Houseboats is a camp entirely on water on the Sacramento Delta. We take 13 students and 2 leaders per Houseboat and Sonshine provides 2 of their staff to complete a boat.

What activities will my student participate in?

Your student will have the opportunity to wake board, knee board, play games, swim, hang out, make new friends, worship, have personal devotional time, and get to know our awesome CHY leaders & Sonshine staff. We provide students with a devotion book for the week and we have a time of worship and teaching, nightly. What we love about Houseboats is the relaxed atmosphere that allows us ample time to connect with students and for students to connect with each other and the staff.

Are meals covered in the cost?

Yes and no. Your student will need money for travel meals to and from the Delta. On the boat our meals will be covered. We will stop mid-week to refuel the boat and students can shop in the mini mart for snack foods. We also are visited by Captain Fun daily where students can buy snack foods and t-shirts.

What kind of screening process is there for leaders?

Every leader has had a background check and has been finger printed. From there, leaders are chosen according to their God given shape. This typically means most leaders are already involved in our student ministry or are parents of students in our ministry.

Houseboats can be life-changing and we are prayerfully planning the trip. We are excited to connect with your student and help them to see the ways God provides for us and guides us. Our hope for every student is that they experience God’s love, plan and purpose and that they open their life to Him in a lasting way.
